Dog Fleas
Fleas on dog
Dog fleas are small, brown wingless insects, their body is flattened lengthwise. They have three pairs of very strong legs which enable them to jump incredibly high. So, jumping is the way dog fleas pass from one host to another. Species of fleas that are commonly found on dogs and cats is called "Cat fleas" (Ctenocephalides felis). Although her first host once was the cat this fleas are not species exclusive today and we'll find them on the dog also.

Flea – the enemy
Fleas are determined and persistent pests: they are designed to be incomprehensible, and that the pet can not remove them by scratching. Because of that the pet owner must fight them relentlessly. Fleas can be killed, but it can sometimes be a difficult task because of their life cycle that goes through 4 stages. Additionally, the fact that the flea does not spend most of their life time on the pet (cat, dog …) creates a problem of difficult locating and removing dog fleas.
